MEGA EXCITING FUNDED FRIDAY!
We have the ultra cool young people from G15's successful application to share with you...
These guys applied for some new cycling equipment so that as a group, they could take on the challenge of developing their health and cycling skills!
They've completed some fab trips so far and are planning on one of their next missions to be a trip from Glasgow to Edinburgh this Summer- good luck guys!

North East YouthBank Lunch

On Thursday 4 May, Glasgow North East YouthBank hosted a "YouthBank lunch" which invited organisations within our inner east committee together to discuss the impact of YouthBank in organisations, the community and young people. We also discussed the best way forward for YouthBank. It was fantastic to see so many organisations come along today. Thanks to Fuse, PEEK Project, Reidvale Youth Hub, FARE, Sandyhills community hall, Bannerman High School and North East Youth Health for attending!
It was a fantastic day!
Sky Academy

On March 16th 2016 the young grant makers took a trip to the Sky Academy in Livingston and learned about producing a news story for TV. They learned what it takes to actually do a news show, to produce a show you need to be creative, communicate well, solve problems, manage your time and work as a team. They enjoyed creating the script, using editing software and the camera. Today was a fantastic experience and it gave them a glimpse of what you need to create a news story. Grant Giving Event

Hi All, a reminder of our event to launch our new YouthBank application form please see attached invite.
The Young Grant Makers want to announce on the night all groups attending will be supported to develop a grant application and the grant that has most benefit to the local community will be funded on the night. All other application will be put forward for funding at the next grant giving night on the 7th December 2015.
Calling all youth groups to bring young people along to the event to increase their skills in community engagement and grant application this is an interactive event run and develop by young people for young people.
Please let us know if you can attend for catering.
